Dr. Michael Curry was selected as the Lancaster Striders first ever recipient of this award. He was recognized for his club involvement for over 30 years, his running accomplishments, and his knowledge of race history and his impact on the running community. With this award come a lifetime membership to the Lancaster Striders. Congratulation Doc. Also Mike is the first inductee into the Lancaster Striders Hall of Fame that was inaugurated the same evening. He will be the Chairman of the Hall of Fame Committee and will develop the Board and prepare for the second inductions next February.
